This lesson on parts of the body in German also includes useful phrases for talking with the doctor about ailments (toothache, upset stomach, etc.) You'll discover that many German words for the body are close to English (der Arm, die Hand, der Finger, das Haar), but you still need to know the gender, since German often prefers it to the possessive pronoun (for instance, mir die Hand rather than meine Hand). You'll also learn some of the many common German expressions that refer to Körperteile!
