German - The First 5 Weeks
German Course Newsletter - Part 1Learn the important basics of the German language in this free online course for beginners. This is the first segment of a 20-lesson course divided into four sections. In the first five weekly lessons, you'll be well on your way to speaking, reading, writing, and understanding German. You may also choose to continue with the other three 5-week courses of German for Beginners. There is a written review test after the first five lessons.
LESSON INFORMATION
You will receive a new German lesson syllabus each week. You'll have one week to complete the lesson before the next weekly lesson is sent to you. Most of the tests and exercises are self-scoring and not graded, but if you have questions about a lesson, you can post a message in the German Forum in the "German Course 1" folder.
BEFORE YOU SIGN UP
1. You cannot change your email address in the middle of the class (but you can unsubscribe at any time). Be sure to use an address that will work for all five weeks of the course.
2. I am unable to reply to anti-spam measures. If you use a spam blocker that requires a "real person" to reply, it will block all course newsletters. Turn it off or use a different email address.
3. When this 5-week course ends, you must sign up for the next 5-week segment if you wish to continue your free German lessons!
NOTE: If you miss an issue or accidentally delete a lesson, there is a "Missing Lesson" link at the end of each newsletter!
