Our Third Man German exercises are
based on this restored DVD version.
These dialogues and worksheets are based on the restored Criterion DVD version (1999) of The Third Man. They include the chapter numbers from the DVD. Although any video edition (VHS or DVD) can be used with our exercises, because the sound and image quality of the newer DVD is so far superior to any earlier video versions, I highly recommend that teachers/students buy or rent the Criterion DVD version with its many extra features.
