Thalersee: Arnold spent many hours during his boyhood at the local Thal Lake, seen in this photo. The blue-gray building in the background is the Gasthof (inn) known as the Café-Restaurant Thalersee. Today the inn is a popular weekend or evening dining spot for people from nearby Graz. Arnold's former home is only about a ten-minute walk from this spot.
