A4 size paper das A4-Papier, DIN A4
Paper Sizes: German and European letter and envelope sizes are different from those in the US. A standard letter-size sheet is A4 (DIN/ISO, 210 x 297 mm), slightly longer and narrower than the US standard 8-1/2 x 11 in. (216 x 279 mm) size. The lower the A size, the larger the sheet. An A3 size is larger than an A4 size, and so on. A10 is the smallest size (26 x 37 mm). B sizes are used for larger poster-sized sheets. C sizes are for envelopes. - Also see DIN.
