In any movie things are not always what they seem. The Bourne Supremacy is far from an exception. The filmmakers intentionally rearranged some of Berlin's topography and shot many scenes in Berlin that are supposedly in Naples, Amsterdam, Munich, or even Moscow. Berlin's fascist-style Messe (trade fair) buildings stood in for the Italian "Stazione Marittima di Napoli" headquarters where Bourne is interrogated by a U.S. official.

One of the extra features on the Supremacy DVD is "On the Move with Jason Bourne," about shooting locations in Berlin, Moscow, Goa, India and other "Bourne" locations.
