Die Temperaturen am Montag
Do you know how warm it will be on Monday? - The temperatures on the weather map are in Celsius degrees. Do you know the short, easy, rough-estimate way to convert Celsius degrees to Fahrenheit? Answers to temperature exercise above
1. The Fahrenheit temperature in Hamburg will be 72. (2x21+30, actual: 69.8)
2. The Fahrenheit temperature in southwestern Germany will be 92. (2x31+30, actual: 87.8)
3. The Fahrenheit temperature in Munich will be 88. (2x29+30, actual: 84.2)
NOTE: The more accurate formula for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit is 1.8xC+32=F. Example: To convert 32C to Fahrenheit: 1.8 x 32 = 57.6 + 32 = 89.6F
