  1. The bread had been baked by her sister. = Das Brot war von ihrer Schwester gebacken worden.
  2. We were told nothing. = Uns wurde nichts gesagt. / Man sagte uns nichts.
  3. The streets are being torn up. = Die Straßen werden aufgerissen. / Man reißt die Straßen auf.
  4. The book had been written by her. = Das Buch war von ihr geschrieben worden.
  5. It can be proved. = Es kann bewiesen werden. / Man kann es beweisen.
