Ein Lesestück für Anfänger

Kim kommt aus dem Bundesstaat Illinois. Zur Zeit wohnt sie als Austauschschülerin bei einer deutschen Familie. Es ist Samstag nachmittag. Sabine, die Tochter, fragt Kim: „Was möchtest du gerne hier machen?“
Kim antwortet: „Am liebsten möchte ich einkaufen gehen. Das heißt ‘shopping’ bei uns.“
Sabine: „Ja klar, das machen wir! Ich gehe auch gern einkaufen! Wann willst du denn gehen?“
Kim: „Morgen vielleicht, geht das?“
Sabine: „Morgen? Nein, das geht nicht. Morgen sind alle Geschäfte geschlossen.“
Kim: „Geschlossen? Aber warum denn?“
Sabine: „Morgen ist doch Sonntag. Sonntags sind alle Läden in Deutschland geschlossen.“
Kim: „Das ist aber komisch! Können wir vielleicht heute noch gehen?“
Sabine: „Nein, das geht auch nicht. Es ist ja schon halb fünf, und samstags machen die Geschäfte um 16 Uhr zu.“
Kim: „Vielleicht dann am Montag?“
Sabine: „Ja, das wird schon klappen. Wir gehen zu Hertie, die machen um halb zehn auf.“
