The contest photos were judged for the best, most imaginative German classroom display. Here are three honorable mention classroom photos:
Pam Reid - Tinora High School, Defiance, OH

Pam Reid's chalk board and wall feature a wide array of realia,
including a Hamburg license plate. The collages at the bottom
were made by students, and contain photos and realia from
biannual class trips to Germany. Other items include country auto
stickers, a restaurant menu, and many other realia articles.

Joan MacDonald - Martin Luther King M.S., Nashville, TN

German III student, Jake Miller, is the artist of this wall
mural picturing famous Germans, symbols, and
landmarks with "Deutschland" painted graffiti style.

Angela Cardarella - Templeton M.S., Sussex, WI

This middle school classroom features German food containers
(shelves on right), books in German (Harry Potter, Die
kleine Raupe Nimmersatt, Micky Maus and Brigitte magazines,
etc.). German Diddl items are displayed on the wall (left).
