AATG - Summer Seminars for Teachers
The American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) offers professional development programs and summer seminars in the USA, Austria, and Germany. In some cases application must be made directly to the seminar, and not via AATG. Some of the links below/above include AATG courses (e.g., Goethe Institute, Taos, Concordia, Leipzig, etc.). Applicants interested in possible grants or stipends must apply early!

ADK - German Summer Course
ADK (Augsburger Deutschkurse) in Bavaria offers a German course geared to teens 14-18. Includes classwork, activities, sports, and excursions to nearby Munich, Neuschwanstein Castle, Ulm, and Rothenburg.

BiBiS - Internationale Sommerkurse
This summer program in Bielefeld, Germany offers four different types of German courses, none of which are intended for beginners. (Site in German only.) BiBiS offers a complete program of classwork, excursions, films, concerts, bike tours, picnics, and even a brewery tour! Students housed in the Uni Bielefeld dorms or with host families.

Canadian Summer School in Germany
This German summer program in Kassel, Germany is sponsored by the Canadian Association of University Teachers of German. Includes an online registration form.

Europa-Kolleg Kassel
Hunter College's (CUNY) German summer program in Kassel. Europa-Kolleg's Summer Programme: Intensive German in 2 to 15-week courses during the summer and at other times. Special courses for teachers.

Fletcher & Friends
"English and German learning the fun way!" in and around Berlin. Summer programs for kids ages 6-10, 11-13 and 14-17. See their Web site for more.

FUBiS - Berlin
The "Summer University" at Berlin's Freie Universität. German courses for every level. Other course offerings are taught in English. An informative Web site complete with online registration. Transferable college credit available.

GLSC - German Summer Programs
Click on "Summer Programs." The German Language School Conference sponsors summer programs in Germany. One is a homestay program in Ingelheim, Germany for adults and children ages 12-15. The other is a four-week travel/study session for older teens and adults in Konstanz, Germany.

Goethe Institute - Language Courses
The Goethe Institute offers intensive German in locations across Germany. Summer Courses for Young People (ages 9-20).

Institut für Internationale Kommunikation - Sommerkurse
Das IIK an der Heinrich-Heine Universität in Düsseldorf. Sommerkurse und Fortbildungseminare. English version.

KAPITO - Summer Courses
Deutsch lernen in Münster (Norddeutschland). Summer intensive courses - July to September. Maximum of 12 students per class.
