Aufgaben für Web-Übung 2
A. On the opening Bundestag page, observe and/or click on any items required to answer the following questions:
- Describe in general what you see on the opening page.
- Is this site in German only? If not, which languages are available?
- On the left there are over a dozen menu categories. List them in order in German and English.
B. Click on "Architektur und Kunst" > "Bauwerke" - and then click on any other items required to answer the following questions:
- When did the renovated Reichstagsgebäude first open?
- Who designed the new dome? What is the German word for the dome?
- What are the main materials used in the dome's construction?
- List at least three statistics (height, width, etc.) given for the dome (in German and English).
C. In the left menu bar (or on the home page) click on "Abgeordnete" to answer the following questions:
- What are "Abgeordnete" in English?
- Which party does Hans-Josef Fell belong to? Which district/Bundesland does he represent? When was he born? His occupation? (German and English) How long has he been in the Bundestag?
- Click on "Dr. Angela Merkel" and provide this information:
Her Party? Bundesland? When born? Official position? (German and English).
D. In the left menu bar click on "Wissen":
- Name at least five categories of information that you can research here. (English and German).
BONUS QUESTION: Under "Aktuell"... Select a category and list three or more facts you learned about that category (in German and English).
