Ich bin am 23. März 1912 in Wirsitz geboren (damals in Deutschland, heute in Polen). Ich bin 1977 in Alexandria, Virginia, USA gestorben. In Deutschland arbeitete ich an Raketenprojekten und war Mitglied des deutschen Teams, das die erste automatisch gesteuerte Flüssigkeitsrakete entwickelte, die A4 (V2). 1945 brachten die Amerikaner mich und viele meiner Mitarbeiter in die USA und ich war später bei der NASA tätig. Als Leiter des amerikanischen Raumfahrtprogramms in den 60er Jahren hatte ich großen Anteil am Erfolg des Apollo-Mondflugprojekts. - Wer bin ich?

Wernher von Braun (1912-1977)
I was born on the 23rd of March 1912 in Wirsitz (then in Germany, now in Polen). I died in Alexandria, Virginia, USA in 1977. In Germany I worked on rocket projects and was a member of the German team that developed the first self-guided liquid-fuel rocket, the A4 (V2). In 1945 the Americans brought me and many of my co-workers to the USA and I later worked for NASA. As head of the American space program in the '60s, I was largely responsible for the success of the Apollo moon mission. - Who am I?
