Antwort - Wer bin ich?

Persönlichkeit 3 - Wer bin ich?

Ich bin am 7. Nov. 1878 in Wien geboren.

Antwort - Ratespiel 3

   Ich bin Lise Meitner (1878-1968).

LISE MEITNER was only the second Austrian woman to earn a doctorate in physics (1905). She is best known for her research on the relationship between beta and gamma rays as well as for coining the term "nuclear fission" (Kernspaltung) in 1939. She and the noted chemist Otto Hahn worked together for three decades and jointly discovered several new radioactive substances. Meitner received numerous academic and other honors during her lifetime, and she was a member of several scientific academies. She refused to work on the atomic bomb and later retired in England.
