Zwischen dem 1. und 6. Januar 2004 machen die Sternsinger bundesweit darauf aufmerksam, wie wichtig es ist, wieder Brücken der Versöhnung und des Friedens zu bauen.
Between January 1 and 6 the "Sternsinger" carolers call nationwide attention to how important it is to once again build bridges of reconciliation and peace.
Note: Sternsinger are children dressed as the Magi (the Wise Men: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar) who visit homes on or before January 6 (Epiphany) to sing carols and collect donations for a worthy cause, usually aid programs that help the people of Third World countries. In 2004 many Sternsinger groups planned to use their donations to help the recent earthquake victims in Iran.
