A close-up view of a Maibaum in Burghausen, Germany. The "Freiw. Feuerwehr" is the volunteer fire department. According to the sign, the May pole was set up by the Salzachtal (Salzach Valley) branch in May 2005. Burghausen lies on the Salzach river on the German-Austrian border.
