ANRUFEN: Conjugated in All Tenses

The German verb anrufen (to call up, ring up Br.) conjugated in all its tenses and moods

Principal Parts: anrufen (er ruft an) • rief an • angerufen
Imperative (Commands): (du) Ruf an! (ihr) Ruft an! Rufen Sie an!

Present Tense - Präsens

Strong Verbs: The verb ANRUFEN is an irregular (strong) verb. Notice the change from u to ie in the simple past tense (rief an).

du rufst an you call/are calling

sie ruft an
es ruft an
he calls/is calling

PLURAL
wir rufen an we call/are calling

Examples:
  Rufen Sie mich morgen an.
  Call me tomorrow.
  Sie ruft ihre Mutter an.
  She's calling her mother.
