Some of you know that this About site for German has been online since February 1998. In the intervening five+ years, I have written, formatted, and assembled almost 2,000 pages with hundreds of articles, glossaries, and resources for German-learners. (For comparison, your average book runs about 200-300 pages, your average college dictionary about 1,500 pages.)
But out of all those pages and resources, which ones are the most popular? That's the question we answer below. By analyzing the weekly statistics that About provides all Guides, I have created a ranked list of what the Germans call Evergreens those articles and resources that have been consistently in the German Language Top 25 over the last several months.
I'm hoping that the answers might lead you, dear reader, to some articles and resources that you may have overlooked or just not considered before. Let's begin with the basic Top 25, with links to each item mentioned.
