Now you can quiz yourself on how well you learned what we discussed in Part One. Please don't attempt the following exercise without having first gone over Part One, especially the section on irregular comparisons. And remember, as we pointed out in Part One, German never uses "more" (mehr) with another modifier to form the comparative, but always uses the -er ending: schöner (more beautiful), intelligenter (more intelligent).
