A Useful Phrasebook
Similar to Langenscheidt's larger Jiffy Phrasebook, the Universal Phrasebook is a newer but more compact edition. The content is logically divided into 10 travel-related situations (Human Relations, Accommodations, On the Way, Food and Drink, Sightseeing, Shopping, etc.). Because of its small size (3"x4"), the Universal Phrasebook is more limited than the Jiffy, but it packs a lot into a small package. It includes newer words, useful cultural/tourist info, and uses the new German spelling.
