Former About.com Guide to German Language

Like all the Guides at About.com, I'm a real person. You can email me with your questions, comments or suggestions. However, before asking me a question, please review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) below. If you don't find the answer you're looking for at our site or in the FAQs, then feel free to email me at the address given below.

F.A.Q.

Q. How do I use this site?
A. The German Language site is designed to help you learn German by offering lessons, glossaries, grammar help, quizzes, and many language resources by your Guide. We also offer hundreds of links to even more information, online courses, dictionaries, and more for German on the Web. On our start page you'll find the latest information and lessons by your Guide. You can also find lessons and topics using the "Search" box at the top of every page.
Q. There's so much here! How do I find what I'm looking for?
A. We try to make it easy to navigate our site, but sometimes it can be frustrating trying to find what you want. If you don't see what you're looking for, try these methods: (1) Browse through our A-to-Z Index of topics. (2) Use the SEARCH button at the top of any page to search our site by keyword(s). (3) Look at our German FAQ Menu for FAQs on various German language topics.
Q. What if I still can't find the article, topic, or answer to my question?
A. First, make sure you've tried our German Language site SEARCH feature and the A-to-Z guide. Also consider posting your question in our German Forum. The Forum is great place to find answers to your German questions. If you still haven't found the answer, email us with your question or suggestion for a new category or article.
Q. What is the About GERMAN LANGUAGE newsletter? Is it free?
A. GERMAN LANGUAGE, our weekly email newsletter for German, is sent out each week to over 40,000 subscribers. The newsletter is free, brief, and informative. As a subscriber, you'll receive news about the latest features and links here at the German Language site. To start receiving your own weekly issue of GERMAN LANGUAGE, just click on this newsletter link. We also offer a second newsletter just for German vocabulary. See the next item for more.
Q. Do you offer other newsletters for German?
A. Yes. Our vocabulary newsletter, WORTSCHATZ I, links to vocabulary pages and lessons. It is also related to our German Word of the Day page. The Wortschatz newsletter is free. You can also subscribe on our Course Newsletters page where we offer several German lesson newsletters.
Q. Will you send me information about German courses, other language information, photos, or printed materials on request?
A. This site is designed to help YOU find these things. Of course, if you need help, you're welcome to ask questions. But please don't ask us to provide information that is already available here. You're welcome to download or print out any of the pages or images on this site for your PERSONAL or CLASSROOM use. (NOTE: Any other electronic or print use of our copyrighted content requires written permission from About.com and your Guide.) Our pages are also available in a printer-friendly format.
Q. How can I contact you?
A. My email address is german.guide@about.com.
