Schlink's KrimisMy Review
Before Schlink began producing his high brow literature, he wrote several Krimis. My German is definitely only middle Stufe, but I find that, with a dictionary handy, these books are fairly easy to read. Besides, they are compelling and often very funny. His hero is an aging investigator named Selb, and a couple of the titles are Selbs Justiz and Selbs Mörder.
