Read a good mystery lately? In German? Did you know you can buy German mystery and crime novels at your local U.S. bookstore? Random House publishes German print-on-demand books in German. Besides mysteries, there are other genres, including sci-fi (Star Wars as a German eBook!), romance, and all kinds of fiction or non-fiction titles—auf Deutsch! Or how about a best-selling Felidae "cat mystery" in German?
