A group of our chatters met in Kassel the weekend of October 8-10, 2004. The first meeting took place in the dining area of the Hotel Albatross. Gabi, Zimbo, DerDoctor and Dobie were the first to arrive. Shortly thereafter Heide and her husband, Tom, arrived after a slow trip from Burghausen. (Lots of construction everywhere!). Schatten (Bonnie), who was studying and working in Germany, arrived later by train and after everyone had settled into their rooms, the group did what our chatters seem to do best... they ate.

The next day Ardythe, Gabi's cousin from California, arrived.

After breakfast the men patiently waited for the rest of us.
