INSTRUCTIONS: Complete each of the following items with the logical superlative form of the adjective/adverb indicated:
1. Ulrich und Hans sind beide jünger als Holger. Holger ist der Älteste.
2. Anna ist fast so schön wie Elke, aber Elke ist wirklich am schönsten.
3. Ich fahre gern mit der Bahn, aber ich fliege am liebsten.
4. Ja, es ist sehr kalt in Island, aber in Antarktika ist es am kältesten.
5. Der Audi fährt schnell und der BMW auch. Aber der Porsche ist der schnellste Wagen.
INSTRUCTIONS: For items 6-10 disagree with the statement by using a comparative adjective that expresses the logical opposite. Follow the examples given. You MUST use an opposite term without nicht.
Ex. A - Das Buch ist besser als der Film.

Ex. B - Das neue Buch ist so groß wie das alte Buch.

(No, his house is uglier than her house.)
8. Der Februar hat mehr Tage als der März.
10. Der Mississippi ist länger als der Amazonas.

13. Der Bleistift ist 19 cm lang. Der Filzstift ist 23 cm lang.
14. Der Sony-Monitor hat einen 15-Zoll-Bildschirm. Der NEC Monitor hat einen 21-Zoll Bildschirm.
15. Die Zugspitze ist 2 963 m hoch. Der Watzmann ist 2 713 m hoch.
