YesMy Review
I joined Rocket German, created by Rocket Languages in 2008. The course provided you with interactive audio lessons that was quite fun to use.
You could download your grammar lessons as PDF files that included audio clips to help you pronounce the German words correctly. It was almost like a talking book.
In 2009 they revamp their whole system and they didn't ask any upgrade fees like so many other companies are doing when they release a new version.
Today I'm really proud to be a member and user of Rocket German. The course caters for all learning styles and and can be access online from anywhere in the world.
I also notice that they recently added two new features to the course: MyVocab and their motivational section.
I'm very glad about their motivational section since it address an important issues when it comes to learning a new language as an adult. I've just created a site that talk about the three issues that stop people becoming fluent in German or any other language and can be read here http://www.learngerman-online.net/.
The only con I have about the course is that they ask $200 more for their 20-CD pack, and the only thing that's different from the online course is that you get the audio lessons in stereo format. Don't waste your money on the CD pack and rather buy their online version. Inside your members area you can get a 2-CD backup CD for only $19.95.
I'll give Rocket German an rating of 96%.
